Keiona Williams — Founder, Geechie LOCS LLC
Born and raised in Charleston, SC, I’m the proud owner of Geechie LOCS LLC—a brand built from passion, purpose, and persistence. My love for hair started at an early age, but it was watching my big sister Symira pursue her cosmetology license that truly lit the fire in me. From that moment, I knew this was more than just a hobby—it was my calling.
In February 2018, I enrolled at Paul Mitchell The School Charleston, and by March 2019, I had my cosmetology license in hand and a vision in mind. Since then, I’ve worked in multiple salons, traveled across cities to expand my reach, and invested in continued education to stay ahead of trends and techniques. I’ve worked with every hair texture, style, and challenge you can imagine—and I’ve learned that technique matters, but so does intention.
Hair has always been my passion, but once I began my own loc journey, everything changed. I noticed a troubling mindset: too many people believed that once their hair was loc’d, it no longer needed care, attention, or love. That realization was the turning point for me. I knew I had to step in and shift the culture—because locs are not just a style, they’re a lifestyle.
Geechie LOCS was born from that mission. I created a safe space for people who take their loc journey seriously—those who understand it’s not about a “quick fix,” but about consistency, education, and holistic hair health. My clients are intentional. They come to grow, not just glow. They trust me to nurture their crowns, and I take that responsibility personally.
Today, I’m more than a hairstylist—I’m an educator, a brand builder, a content creator, and a trusted guide in the loc community. My work doesn’t stop at the salon chair. Whether it’s through tutorials, client consultations, or content creation, I’m constantly looking for ways to inspire others and elevate the standard of care in the natural hair and loc world.
At Geechie LOCS, we don’t just do hair—we cultivate growth, confidence, and culture. And we’re just getting started.
